The Donut Diaries: A Sweet Little Donut Tasting

A few months ago, I got a sweet little surprise by being asked if I would be interested in baking donuts for a family wedding — and believe me, I was shocked and delighted! Now I have made many, many batches of donuts throughout this pandemic so I knew nailing down a list of which treats to make for this upcoming event would not be easy.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago — to our “donut tasting” (which is now an official thing!) where my husband and a dear friend prepped, partied, and decorated our little hearts out to make eight different types of donuts for the bride and groom to taste and enjoy. We laughed, we stuffed our faces with donuts …… it was perfect:)

Now it's the week of the wedding and I am in full-on prep mode writing out grocery lists, ordering boxes for transport, and prepping ingredients. My happy place.
