The 20 Minute Tuna Casserole
Does anyone else like meal prepping for friends and family who are expecting? I do! Just last week I spent a few hours preparing freezer meals for one of my sisters who is expecting her second child. (Fun fact: I have TWO sisters expecting little boys very close together! ) I didn’t have much time which made this 20 Minute Tuna Casserole perfect - plus, it freezes very well. When this sweet little boy arrives, his parents and little sister will have something delicious to pop into the oven and chow down on as their family of three becomes a family of four.
Ingredients:
Large casserole dish
1 of cream of mushroom
1 can of sweet peas
3 cans of tuna
1 box of rotini pasta
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon of garlic salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
Recipe:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and bring a large pot of salt water to a boil, add your rotini pasta and cook until it is al dente - drain the past once it is done
Once the pasta is cooked, drain the water
Add the cream of mushroom, sweet peas, tuna, 1 cup of shredded cheese, salt and pepper into the pot with the pasta - mix together wel!!
Pour the pasta mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top
Lastly, bake for 10 minutes and enjoy!
